Hi there! My name is Fabienne Konings. I’m 31 years old and I live in Rotterdam. In July 2020, I graduated as a skin therapist. I have a great passion for skincare, but keeping your skin in good condition involves more than just your skincare routine. That’s why I have chosen a holistic approach. I’d love to inspire you to feel good, both physically and mentally. You’ll find weekly blogs, tips, or videos here on beauty, relaxation, and positive thinking.
To complement my current profession, I am currently studying ”Ayurveda”. This is a traditional medical system that originated 5000 years ago in India. Ayurvedic medicine takes a holistic approach and aims to promote overall health and well-being by balancing the body, mind, and soul.
Yoga
I practice yoga multiple times in a week and I love how it brings me such peace. Often, my mind is cluttered after a day of work, and this is the perfect way for me to unwind. While yoga has many physical benefits, such as promoting flexibility, strength, and balance, I mainly benefit from stress reduction and spiritual growth. I encourage others to practice yoga more often, you don’t have to be flexible. This is a common misconception that holds many people back because it’s assumed to be a requirement. However, flexibility is not the goal of practising yoga. Nobody is bad at practising yoga, and nobody is good at practising yoga.
Blogging
During my studies, I often received questions like: “How can I best take care of my skin?”, “Which cosmetic brands can you recommend?”, “Can you take a look at this spot?” and so on! It’s in my nature to give people the most honest and well-founded answer possible. And so I started my quest to answer the questions asked of me as best as I could. After much reading, I slowly discovered that a beautiful healthy skin doesn’t come solely from a tube or a jar. Stress, diet, and especially your own mindset truly play a role in creating or maintaining beautiful skin. Mind, body, and soul are interconnected after all. And this is what I want to tell you more about.
That’s why my blog is divided into different categories: Ayurveda, Skincare, Spirituality, Clean Nutrition and Positive Thinking.

Choosing the right skincare is essential to keep your skin beautifully healthy. I often see people experiencing certain skin problems due to wrong product choices. But sometimes the skin needs an extra boost. As a skin therapist, I will also talk a lot about certain treatments offered in the skin therapeutic practice. Nowadays, many great treatments are offered to make your skin smooth or maintain it. - Spirituality
Spirituality is a broad and multifaceted concept that, for me, entails the search for meaning, purpose, and connection to something greater than oneself. At its core, spirituality involves a deep exploration of inner dimensions of life, including the realms of consciousness, morality, ethics, and existential questions about the nature of reality and existence. - Positive Thinking
The body, mind and soul are interconnected. The way we think and act also affects our body. You become what you think. If you have a positive outlook on life, you also attract positive energy (and vice versa). It may sound airy-fairy, but it doesn’t have to be at all. We all face setbacks in life, but I want to tell you in a down-to-earth way how you can positively deal with them.
Mission
In addition to writing about general advice, tips, and developments, I also provide you with a glimpse into my life and lifestyle, with the main focus ‘skincare’. My mission is to inspire you to make conscious choices, choose the right skincare, and enjoy life with a positive mindset. Stress does have a huge impact on our skin. This involves my passion for advising, researching, writing, and entrepreneurship. All of this together was a perfect starting point for me to start my blog. On this website, I write articles, provide information, and offer tips that may help you on your way to achieving beautiful, healthy, radiant skin!
